Our kids

Our kids are a bit sick of having their picture taken. Like many other photographers, we’ve filled memory card after memory card of “test” shots of our closest moving subjects. Usually, these days our camera is met with a hand and a “don’t-point-that-thing-at-me” look.  This last week, I was fortunate enough to get a moment with each where they were willing to at least look my direction when I held the camera.  What’s better is that these photos really show their personality.  Daddy’s girl here just returned from a great time at a princess-fairy birthday party, complete with bright-green tutu and face-painting.  I think the blue jeans complete the ensemble nicely. She’s clearly got her own sense of style and lives on her own terms.  He’s much more conservative in attire and demeanor.  He has a serious and thoughtful soul that is undeniable.
